The Immaculatus Puffer, also known as the Immaculate Puffer, is a species of pufferfish found in the Indo-Pacific region, from the Red Sea and the East Coast of Africa to Samoa, north to the Ryukyu Islands, and south to Australia. They inhabit coral reefs and lagoons, and are usually found at depths between 1 to 25 meters. They have a distinctive appearance with a mottled brown body, covered in small white spots. They can reach up to 30 centimeters in length and are popular in the aquarium trade. However, they can be aggressive towards other fish and should be kept in a species-only tank or with other robust, large fish. They are also known to puff up when stressed or threatened, which can be dangerous for them as it can cause health problems.
