This fish is native to the Western Pacific Ocean, specifically around the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea. The Blood Spot Anthias is a very colorful fish with a bright red body and a yellow tail. It has a black spot near its eye, which gives it the name “Blotcheye Anthias”. These fish are relatively small, growing up to about 3 inches in length.
