Built-in, internal check valves prevent potential pump damage from backflow and vertical airline outlets allow optimized performance free of pinching or kinking airline tubing. Installation Instructions

Check the Aqueon QuietFlow Air Pump for any sign of shipping damage. If damaged, do not operate and return to place of purchase

Place the Aqueon QuietFlow Air Pump on a flat surface near aquarium.

Connect one end of the airline tubing (sold separately) to Air Outlet Valve(s) on the back of the unit, then secure tubing onto built-in tubing Braces, and the connect the other end of the airline tubing to décor. (Please note: For the 60G and 100G units, TWO separated airline tubes should be attached. Simply repeat the step above.)

Be sure that he cord makes a "drip loop" to prevent water from running down and into the air pump plug or receptacle. Plug in air pump.
