Certified Beginner SPS Frag 4 Pack is a great addition to any reef tank. The pack contains four different color forms of Small Polyp Stony Coral Frags, including Pavona, Seriatopora, Stylophora, Porites, Montipora, or Pocillopora, which are easy to keep. These captive grown coral frags will add a dramatic splash of color to your aquarium. They thrive in a well-established reef aquarium with bright lighting provided by metal halides or multiple T-5 or compact fluorescents. To ensure their growth rate, it’s important to maintain stable water parameters, such as a high pH, stable alkalinity and calcium levels, and keep phosphate and nitrate levels as close to zero as possible. The SPS corals prefer strong, intermittent water flow within the aquarium, which can be accomplished with a wave maker and multiple power heads. While SPS corals receive most of their nutritional requirements from photosynthesis, they also benefit from the addition of various types of zooplankton.
