The pack includes the Orange Stripe Glove polyp, the Houdini Colony Polyp rock, and the Sinularia Finger Leather Coral frag. Each coral has its own unique colors and formations that will add immediate interest to your aquarium. They require moderate lighting and a medium to strong waterflow, and should be placed away from other coral. These aquacultured coral frags are grown in captivity and accustomed to a home aquarium. They require supplemental calcium, strontium, magnesium, iodine, and other trace elements in the water. The symbiotic algae zooxanthellae hosted within each coral’s body provide the majority of their nutritional requirements from the algae’s light driven process of photosynthesis but will benefit from the addition of foods designed for corals and invertebrates.

Brain Coral, Lobophyllia
Call for PriceBrain Coral, also known as Lobophyllia, is a type of large polyp stony coral found in shallow waters of the Indo-Pacific region. It is named for its unique appearance, which resembles the folds and grooves of a human brain. Lobophyllia colonies can grow up to 1 meter in diameter and have a variety of colors, including green, brown, yellow, and blue. They are typically found in areas with moderate to high water flow and moderate to high light conditions. Brain Coral is a popular choice for aquarium enthusiasts due to its unique appearance and hardiness. It requires moderate to high lighting and moderate water flow, and can be fed with small pieces of meaty food such as shrimp or fish. However, it is important to note that harvesting Brain Coral from the wild can be damaging to natural reef ecosystems, and it is recommended to purchase specimens that have been sustainably and responsibly sourced.

Hammer Coral, Branching
Call for PriceThe Hammer Coral, also known as Euphyllia ancora, is a popular species of LPS (large polyp stony) coral in the aquarium trade. The branching variety of this coral has elongated, branching tentacles that resemble a hammer or anchor. This coral is relatively easy to care for and can thrive in a variety of lighting and water flow conditions. It prefers moderate to high water flow and low to moderate lighting, and it benefits from regular feedings of small meaty foods, such as brine shrimp or mysis shrimp. The Hammer Coral can come in a range of colors, including green, brown, and pink. It is a hardy and fast-growing species that can add movement and texture to a reef aquarium. It is also known to exhibit a unique behavior known as “sweeper tentacles,” in which it extends long, stinging tentacles to defend its territory against neighboring corals.
