Huchtii Anthias, also known as the Threadfin Anthias, is a species of saltwater fish that belongs to the family Serranidae. They are native to the Indo-Pacific region and can be found in reefs and lagoons. The males have a bright red-orange coloration, while the females are generally yellow with a pinkish tint. Both males and females have elongated dorsal and anal fins that resemble thread-like appendages, which give them their common name. Huchtii Anthias are active and peaceful fish that do best in groups of three or more in a large, well-established reef aquarium with plenty of hiding places and open swimming space. They primarily feed on zooplankton and require a varied diet to maintain optimal health.
