The Lunate Fairy Wrasse, also known as Cirrhilabrus lunatus, is a small and colorful fish found in the Western Pacific Ocean. This species is a member of the family Labridae and can be found in coral reefs and rocky areas at depths ranging from 10 to 70 meters. Lunate Fairy Wrasse has a bright orange body with blue stripes and spots. It has a distinctive blue spot on its cheek, a black patch on its dorsal fin, and a white spot at the base of its tail. The females have a more subdued coloration, with a pale pink body and faint blue stripes. These fish are active swimmers and are often found in small groups or pairs. They feed on small invertebrates such as copepods, amphipods, and isopods. Lunate Fairy Wrasse is peaceful and can be kept in a reef tank with other non-aggressive fish species. They require a well-established aquarium with plenty of hiding places and open swimming areas.
