The Mimic Half Black Tang, also known as the Mimic Surgeonfish, is a stunning and unique species of tang. It is named for its close resemblance to the popular Half Black Tang, but is actually a completely different species. This tang has a black body with a striking white band that runs down the middle of its body, giving it a distinctive and eye-catching appearance. Its fins are accented with vibrant blue and yellow, adding to its overall beauty. Like other tangs, the Mimic Half Black Tang requires a spacious aquarium with plenty of swimming room and hiding places. They are generally peaceful, but can become territorial towards other tangs or similar species. As with all tangs, it is important to provide a healthy diet that includes plenty of algae and other vegetable matter.

Naso Tang
Call for PriceThe Naso Tang, also known as the Lipstick Tang or Orangespine Unicornfish, is a species of tang native to the Indo-Pacific region. They have a distinctive elongated body shape and a small mouth with protruding lips. They are primarily dark blue with bright yellow highlights on its fins and tail. It also has a unique bright blue stripe along the edges of its dorsal and anal fins. Juvenile Naso Tangs have a more yellowish coloration and lack the blue stripe on their fins. In the wild, the Naso Tang feeds on a variety of algae and other plant material, but in captivity, they can be fed a diet of marine-based seaweed, vegetables, and high-quality commercial pellets or flakes.
