The Orange-banded Stingfish, also known as the Orangeband Surgeonfish or Orangebarred Surgeonfish, is a species of surgeonfish found in the Indo-Pacific region. It has a distinctive orange band running across its body, and typically inhabits coral reefs and lagoons. It feeds on algae and other small organisms, and is known to be relatively peaceful and easy to care for in aquarium settings. However, like all surgeonfish, it has sharp spines on its tail that can cause injury if mishandled.
