These blennies typically grow to a maximum size of 2 inches and are known for their unique appearance, which includes a bright orange body, large eyes, and a distinctive tuft of cirri on their head.

Panamic Barnacle Blennies are reef safe and can be kept in aquariums with live rock and plenty of hiding places. They are generally peaceful and can be kept with other small, peaceful fish. They require a diet of small meaty foods, such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and small pieces of fish or shrimp.

These blennies are known for their interesting behavior, which includes darting in and out of crevices in the rocks and perching on top of barnacles. They are also known to form monogamous pairs and will defend their territory from other fish. Overall, the Panamic Barnacle Blenny is a fascinating and colorful addition to a marine aquarium.
