The Pygmy Angelfish, also known as the Cherub Angelfish, is a small and brightly colored species of saltwater angelfish. They typically grow up to 3 inches in length and have a striking blue-purple body with vibrant orange accents on the fins and tail. Pygmy Angelfish are popular in reef aquariums due to their small size and peaceful temperament, but they are known to be territorial towards other angelfish. They are omnivores, feeding on a variety of algae, invertebrates, and small crustaceans. Some species of Pygmy Angelfish are considered to be difficult to keep in captivity, but with proper care and a suitable environment, they can thrive and make a great addition to a well-maintained aquarium.
