Red Eye Tetra Group

The Brilliant Rummynose Tetra Group, also known as Rummynose Tetra (Hemigrammus bleheri), is a freshwater fish that is native to South America, specifically the Amazon River basin. These fish are a popular choice for aquarium enthusiasts due to their striking coloration and active behavior. The brilliant rummynose tetra is primarily silver in color, with a black band that runs horizontally across its body, and a bright red head and nose. They are relatively small, growing up to about 2 inches in length, and require a well-planted aquarium with plenty of hiding places and open swimming areas. They are best kept in schools of at least six individuals and prefer soft, slightly acidic water conditions. Due to their sensitivity and specialized care requirements, they are recommended for experienced aquarium hobbyists only.
