The Saddleback Butterflyfish, also known as the Saddle Butterflyfish, has a distinctive black saddle-like marking on its white body. Its head and dorsal fin are yellow, with a black vertical stripe through the eye. This species can grow up to 8 inches in length and is found in coral reefs throughout the Indo-Pacific region. Saddleback Butterflyfish are omnivorous and feed on a variety of small invertebrates and algae. They are a popular species in the aquarium trade, but can be challenging to care for due to their dietary requirements and susceptibility to certain diseases.
