The Scissortail Rasbora (Rasbora trilineata) is a peaceful schooling fish that can add movement and color to a community aquarium. They are named for their deeply forked tail fin, which resembles a pair of scissors. Scissortail Rasboras are silver in color with a black horizontal stripe running down their body, and they can grow up to 6 inches in length. They are omnivores and will eat a variety of foods, including flakes, pellets, and live or frozen foods. In a group of six or more, Scissortail Rasboras will swim actively and playfully together, making them an excellent choice for a community aquarium.
