Talbot’s Damselfish (Chrysiptera talboti) is a small, colorful marine fish that belongs to the family Pomacentridae. It is also known as the Talbot’s Demoiselle or Damsel. The Talbot’s Damselfish is native to the western Pacific Ocean, where it can be found in shallow, rocky reefs and lagoons. It typically grows to a maximum length of about 3 inches (7.5 cm) and has a bright blue body with a yellow-orange tail and dorsal fin. In the wild, the Talbot’s Damselfish feeds primarily on zooplankton and algae. It is known to be a hardy and adaptable species that can be kept in home aquariums. They are known to be a bit territorial and may be aggressive towards other fish of the same species or similar-looking species, so it’s best to keep them in groups of one male and several females or as a mated pair.
