Anubias Congensis is a relatively rare species of Anubias that is native to the Democratic Republic of Congo in Central Africa. It is a slow-growing plant that can be attached to rocks or driftwood in an aquarium. Anubias Congensis has elongated, lance-shaped leaves that are deep green in color and can grow up to 8 inches in length. The plant is generally hardy and can tolerate a range of water conditions, including low light and low nutrient levels. Like other Anubias species, Anubias Congensis benefits from regular additions of CO2, iron-rich fertilizers, and trace elements. It can be propagated by dividing the rhizome or by planting the adventitious plantlets that grow on the leaves.
