Anubias nana is a popular aquatic plant in the aquarium hobby due to its hardy nature and ease of care. It is commonly seen attached to driftwood or rocks. When attached to driftwood, it can create a natural and beautiful look in the aquarium. Anubias nana on driftwood is easy to care for and can tolerate a wide range of water conditions. It prefers low to moderate light and can be placed in the foreground or midground of the aquarium. The roots of the plant should not be buried in the substrate, but rather tied or glued to the driftwood. This will prevent the rhizome from rotting. Anubias nana on driftwood does not require frequent fertilization, but it will benefit from occasional supplementation of nutrients, especially iron. CO2 injection is not necessary but can promote faster growth and larger leaves.
