The Cloudy Damselfish (Dascyllus carneus) is a species of marine fish belonging to the family Pomacentridae, found in the Indo-Pacific region. They are generally found in coral reefs and lagoons, and can grow up to 10 centimeters in length. These damselfish are named for their distinctive appearance, with a cloudy or smudged pattern of white and grayish-blue on their bodies. They are omnivores, feeding on plankton, algae, and small invertebrates. They are popular aquarium fish due to their hardiness and peaceful nature, and are often kept in groups.
