The Fijian Mimic Lemon Peel Tang, also known as Mimic Surgeonfish, is a species of tang that mimics the appearance of the Lemonpeel Angelfish, a completely unrelated species. This tang is primarily yellow in color with electric blue highlights around the eyes, fins, and tail. It has a black patch on its dorsal fin that resembles a false eyespot and serves as a defensive mechanism to deter predators. The Fijian Mimic Lemon Peel Tang is a peaceful fish that can be housed with other non-aggressive species in a tank of at least 100 gallons or more. They require a varied diet that includes plenty of vegetable matter and meaty foods like brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and spirulina. They can be somewhat challenging to keep in captivity, as they require high water quality and good filtration, so experienced aquarists are recommended to keep them.

Powder Brown Tang
$120.99The Powder Brown Tang, also known as the Powder Brown Surgeonfish, is a species of tang found in the Indo-Pacific region. These fish are highly sought after by aquarium enthusiasts due to their striking appearance and active personality. They have a dark brown body with a white speckled pattern, and a bright orange band that runs along the edges of its fins. They have a narrow snout and small eyes, and can grow up to 8 inches in length. In the wild, these fish are found in coral reefs and lagoons where they feed on algae and other small organisms. In captivity, they require a large aquarium with plenty of swimming room and hiding places. They can be territorial towards other fish of the same species, so it’s important to keep only one per tank. A varied diet of algae, frozen foods, and live foods is recommended for their health and wellbeing.
