The Red-Fin Fairy Wrasse, also known as Cirrhilabrus rubripinnis, is a species of marine fish in the family Labridae. They are native to the Western Pacific Ocean, found in the waters of Indonesia, the Philippines, and Papua New Guinea. These fish are a beautiful addition to a reef or community tank, with males displaying vibrant red and purple colors on their bodies and fins, and females having a more subdued appearance. They are relatively small in size, reaching only about 3-4 inches in length, making them suitable for smaller aquariums. The Red-Fin Fairy Wrasse is generally peaceful and can be kept with other non-aggressive fish species, but males may exhibit aggression towards other male fairy wrasses or fish with similar body shapes and colors. They require a well-established aquarium with plenty of hiding places and live rock for grazing and feeding on small invertebrates.
