The Red-Lined Wrasse (Pseudocheilinus octotaenia) is a small, colorful marine fish that belongs to the family Labridae. It is also known as the Eight-Lined Wrasse or Eight-Striped Wrasse. As its name suggests, the Red-Lined Wrasse has eight horizontal red lines along its body, which contrast beautifully with its bluish-green base color. It also has a black spot on its dorsal fin and a black line that runs from its nose to its eye. Juveniles of this species have a more muted coloration and lack the distinct red lines. Red-Lined Wrasses are found in the western Pacific Ocean, particularly in the waters around Indonesia, the Philippines, and Papua New Guinea. They prefer areas with strong currents and rocky reefs with plenty of hiding places. In the aquarium hobby, the Red-Lined Wrasse is a popular species due to its stunning coloration and active, curious nature. They require a well-established aquarium with plenty of hiding places and a varied diet of meaty foods. It is generally considered reef-safe, but it may nip at small invertebrates such as shrimp and crabs.

Call for PriceThe Green Mandarin, also known as the Striped Mandarinfish or Green Mandarinfish, is a popular and colorful fish species that is commonly kept in reef aquariums. They are known for their vibrant green and blue striped patterns and their unique and interesting swimming behavior. Green Mandarins are carnivorous and feed on small invertebrates and copepods in the wild, so it is important to provide a sufficient source of live food in a captive setting. They are generally considered to be challenging to keep due to their dietary requirements and sensitivity to water conditions.
