Vrolik’s Wrasse, also known as the Yellow-ear Wrasse or Red-breasted Wrasse, is a species of marine fish that belongs to the family Labridae. The male Vrolik’s Wrasse has a unique and striking appearance, with a bright red or orange coloration on its lower body, a yellowish-green coloration on its upper body, and distinct yellow stripes behind the eye and on the upper lip. The male Vrolik’s Wrasse also has elongated dorsal and anal fins, which it can raise and lower to communicate with other fish and to intimidate rivals. These fish are found in the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific region, including the Red Sea, and typically inhabit rocky or coral reef environments at depths of up to 50 meters. The diet of Vrolik’s Wrasse consists mainly of small invertebrates, such as crustaceans, mollusks, and worms. In the aquarium trade, Vrolik’s Wrasse are highly sought after due to their stunning coloration and unique appearance. However, they can be challenging to keep in captivity and require a well-established and appropriately sized aquarium with plenty of hiding places and open swimming areas. Vrolik’s Wrasse are also known to be aggressive towards other fish with a similar body shape and coloration, so it’s important to carefully select tankmates.

Call for PriceThe Green Mandarin, also known as the Striped Mandarinfish or Green Mandarinfish, is a popular and colorful fish species that is commonly kept in reef aquariums. They are known for their vibrant green and blue striped patterns and their unique and interesting swimming behavior. Green Mandarins are carnivorous and feed on small invertebrates and copepods in the wild, so it is important to provide a sufficient source of live food in a captive setting. They are generally considered to be challenging to keep due to their dietary requirements and sensitivity to water conditions.
